#StollenOff

Back to blog

No stollen-off is not a Russian football club owner, but a serious food test. Yes its that time of year again, its time to stock up on festive treats and goodies. As we’re kind, helpful people here at WE CAN, we’d like to help you out with that most important of Christmas decisions. No, not who to visit on what day of the break, but STOLLEN!

WE CAN have taken it upon ourselves to find the best Christmas edible essentials this year so you know where to go. It saves you the the painful and laborious job of eating lots and lots of Christmas food to get to the best ones to serve auntie Dorris with her sherry (you can thank us later).

For our first big test (of three) we have chosen stollen to be scrutinised by our expert taste buds. Below is a list of the stollen tested, where to find it and at what price.

It was a complex and difficult task as we said, but we felt that as long as our clients and friends get the best stollen possible, it was worth the pain and guilt we had to go through. So now with great pleasure we announce the finalists for the 2014 #StollenOff:

You will have to wait for us to announce the winner when we put our finalists to the test in front of our clients at our own Christmas party. Next week we’ll put mince pies to the test all for your benefit. Watch this space!

Maybe our final test should be indigestion tablets.
