Real Foods were bringing Love Food Festival, a street food and food truck festival, to Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Dubai. They needed a branding system and visual identity that would sit alongside the existing Real Food identity. It needed to be flexible enough to work for both Roman and Arabic text.
Taking the identity we created for the successful London Love Food Festival as the starting point, we developed a set of watercolour illustrations of the skylines of each city, to form iconic and stylish logos for each. We also worked on an over-arching UAE version using the shape of the UAE and their flag. During the course of the project it was decided by the client to separate the Dubai event from the Al Alin and Abu Dhabi events, so we evolved an identity for each, with the Dubai event taking on a different look and feel. Having worked with Real Foods to support their event the year before, we brought our experience and knowledge from the previous event to inform this bigger project, and were able to drive the process to keep ahead of the timeline.
Using engaging photography, we created sales documents for each event to drive interest and support.
